Estartit is probably one of the best known towns on the Costa Brava. Located in the province of Girona, it is certainly a mandatory stop if you plan to pass through the Empordà area. There is a lot to visit, but you can also be in contact with nature. Although we are in the heart of the Montgrí Massif and Naural park of the Medes Islands and the Baix Ter, all kinds of cultural and leisure activities are available like our anual Jazz concerts and the beautiful cala del Molinet, sports activities such as horse riding or diving and gastronomy of all kinds to come and enjoy an exceptional vacation.
Our vacation apartments are open practically all year round. We offer this service during the summer months as well as during the low season months. During the high season of peak activity in town, the village of Estartit opens its doors to all establishments, local, restaurants and leisure or cultural activities. During the winter the good weather allows you to enjoy a quiet vacation with plenty of places to visit within a few minutes by car.
Estartit has always been a village dedicated to national and international tourism. Many families and retirees visit us as the long beach of fine sand with it's shallow waters allows for great walks and games for children. The most active tourism is based mainly on divers who dive for the spectacular marine biodiversity of the Medes Islands, also lovers of BTT circuits with routes and trails along the massif as well as the old roads near the orchards. Low season tourism is also very popular.
